InBusiness Inc, an internet marketing company located in Orlando, Florida, is looking for a talented PHP Programmer well versed in PHP, Ecommerce platforms, WordPress, Drupal, and web app development. This position is ideal for an experienced PHP Programmer who wants more upward mobility in a fast growing dynamic environment. Key elements a professional developer must have:
- Have demonstrated experience writing maintainable code from scratch,
- Value good communication, and
- Experience reading and modifying the code written by other developers.
Skills and Experience Needed:
- Deep understanding of the WordPress CMS best practices, plugins and APIs. WordPress development will include: Installation of Plugins, Plugin development, Customization of Theme Code, custom modules.
- 3+ Years of professional PHP 4/5 experience.
- Custom programming of web applications.
- Possess communication and interpersonal skills that encourage growth.
Skills we would also value:
- Experience working with the LAMP stack.
- CSS, Javascript + jQuery, and cross platform xHTML skills.
- Server maintenance experience
- Set up, manage, and configure necessary application hosting environments utilizing technologies such as Linux and Apache.
- Ecommerce platform experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Migrate WordPress sites on various platforms.
- Troubleshoot errors with WordPress plugins, API, Themes.
- Collaborate with team members to determine technology solutions based on known project requirements.
- Maintain strong understanding of all latest and legacy browser capabilities with high market share, including mobile devices.
- Complete production assignments in spec, budget, and timeline.
- Alert management if any concerns arise during the production of a project that may impede the progress of the project.
- Provide accurate estimations and recommended solutions for the proposed development of new projects and feature upgrades for existing clients.
- Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code libraries.
- Experience in resolving cross-browser compatibility issues.
